Descrição
Resumo:It seeks to offer analytical and conceptual elements to analyze the link between environmental degradation and the environment of criminal violence in the Rio La Sabana and the Laguna de Tres Palos sub-watershed region, which is located within the metropolitan area of  Acapulco Guerrero city. A theoretical discussion is developed on the nature of the socio-environmental study object, the various ways in which the relationship between violence and environmental conflicts has been developed, and is proposed a theoretical approach based on the concept of socio-environmental security. Michel Foucault and Achille Mbembé's analysis of governmentality is useful for reflecting on socio-environmental participative processes insofar as they generate reflections on a given state of the nature-society link, putting into question the narratives of sustainability and complex systems theory.
