Descrição
Resumo:The goal is to visualize and simulate energy consumption in North America, using four-sided pyramids where the base polygon is made up of four points of non-renewable consumption, and the cusp represented by the apex or higher point, corresponds to consumption or renewable alternatives. It begins with the history of the world´s energy consumption, following the literatures review about proposals related to demand of oil and derivatives. Subsequently the methodology and simulation is presented finding in the results that reducing consumption of medium refinement products and fuels, would cause more height at the top of the pyramids, interpreted as increasing of renewable energies.
