Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of this paper is review the information of the species belonging. to seven holoplanktonic families of polychaetes: Alciopidae, lospilidae, Lopadorhynchidae, Pontodoridae, Tomopteridae, Typhloscolecidae. and Yndolaciidae. The Survey region is the Atlantic Ocean arbitrary considerate between 60 degrees N to 60 degrees S, and 97 degrees W to 20 degrees E. Seventy one species have been recorded which diversity patterns are analyzed, including particular data front the eastern and western regions as the Canarian Archipelago and Cabo Verde Islands, and the Yucatan Channel (between Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea). respectively. Zoogeographic affinities and faunistic composition differences are discussed.
