Descrição
Resumo:The urban growth that has occurred in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico, since the eighties, has been particularly in subdivisions with housing built in series. The installation of the maquiladora industry and the purpose of housing the families that work in it, propitiate the construction of housing developments where essentially houses with minimal dimensions are built. The objective of this paper is to show some aspects related to the dimensions, habitability conditions, regulations and abandonment of the housing of the Las Haciendas de Ciudad Juarez subdivision as an object of study. The regulations are a determining factor for the dimensioning of the house, because the real estate companies take these restrictions to the minimum limit for their construction, thus generating subsequent problems to the conditions of habitability and the urban context.
