Sumario:The main aim of this article is to analyze the public opinion about electoral polls in a discursive way. According to this, the objective was understanding why people mistrust electoral polls, what key aspects can generate aversion, why people want to be, or not, a survey respondent, if people monitor this type of surveys, if electoral polls can influence the vote, what role mass media play in this process. Then, the final analysis evinces how some social and demographic variables, like level of studies or the age, can determine the Spanish people´s interest, utility, knowledge or social perception about this researching technique.
