Descrição
Resumo:This paper analyzes the television-audiovisual archives of Ecuador’s leading audiovisual chains, asmeasured by viewership and geographic coverage. This work is performed according to an “ad hoc”model, with a total of 110 indicators grouped into nine sections, as follows: identification, content, service policies, human resources, physical spaces, software, accessibility, documentary description and conservation. The study sample includes Ecuador TV, Ecuavisa, Teleamazonas, Gama TV and TC . Results reveal that these media outlets have devoted only scant resources to web-based broadcasting.
