| Resumo: | In the modern era, new technologies have changed the way business is conducted and undertaken. One of these innovations is the use of electronic wallets, which make it possible to carry money and financial information digitally and securely on mobile devices. Although these wallets have advantages such as transaction security, ease of managing economic resources and simplicity of use, they also have disadvantages, such as dependence on mobile devices and the Internet. Nevertheless, their use in business is constantly increasing, which increases their relevance. This paper aims to illustrate the change in the use of money and the influence of electronic wallets in business, through a documentary review of digital wallets and their use. |
