Descrição
Resumo:Within the context of Mexican auto parts export manufacturers, the objective of this work was to analyze the influence of the absorptive, innovation and agility capabilities on competitive advantage of associated companies of the supply chain. The methodology of this research was quantitative, cross sectional, correlational-causal, non-probabilistic and non-experimental. According to the results, there are virtuous relationships between the studied capabilities and competitive advantage. Due to the fact that there are few studies that inquire into the supply chain from the point of view of capabilities, and the fact that research on their links to competitive advantage is scarce, the findings in this work supply empirical evidence that adds to the current body of knowledge. The sample types and studied sector pose limitations. For this reason, it is recommended to replicate this work with a probabilistic research design, as well as perform further studies upon the proposed relationships in other contexts and sectors.
