Sumario:The transformation of ecosystems caused by humans is affecting species such as Phrynosoma orbiculare. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the changes in its distribution in the state of Hidalgo, in order to know the effects of anthropization on its populations between 1980 and 2022. To do this, the records were downloaded from coordinate distribution platforms, in order to use them in ArcGis 10.8, in the MAXENT 3.4.4 niche modeling program and climatological platforms, with the purpose of comparing changes in land use and climate. To complement and visualize the transformation in the areas with the highest number of records, satellite images were extracted from the Google Earth Pro program. Thus, it was observed that there has not been a drastic change in the distribution of Phrynosoma orbiculare, due to the fact that it is a species with a wide resistance capacity, however, it does not mean that it lives in adequate conditions.
