| Resumo: | During an archaeological dig undertaken in the deltaic area of the Llobregat River (Barcelona, Spain), it has been possible to document the formation process of the delta, the first human occupation in the Iberian period in this spot and the evolution of the site as a dependency of a roman villa until the Late Antiquity. Among the several features that can be related to landscape organization (structures orientation, irrigation and drainage ducts, a rural path...) the remains of organic material allow to dispose of one of the most complete records of archaeobotanical data in the region. |
