| Sumario: | Among the activities of the DR3AM Project it is being carried out a gravimetric study to support the creation of a 3D geological model of the western part of the Barbastro-Balaguer anticline in order to obtain an image of the distribution and thickness variations of the evaporites together with the geometry of the top of the basement. This paper presents the preliminary work carried out to generate a preliminary Bouguer anomaly map. In it, it can be observed a regional gradient SW-NE which is mostly related with the northward deepening of Moho and the increase of the sedimentary wedge also to the north, although it has less influence. The residual Bouguer anomaly has been obtained by subtracting to the Bouguer anomaly a one degree polynomial surface. Its correlation with the detailed geological map shows a clear correlation with the outcrop of Eocene evaporites that cored the anticline. Pattern and variations in amplitude of the residual Bouguer allow mapping the distribution and geometry of the evaporites together with the variations in the depth of the basement. |
