We studied a reproductive population in central-eastern Argentina that used native talares forests as nesting areas. In this study we provide new data on the characteristics of their nests, the sites used to build them, morphometric measurements of eggs and chicks and we report, for the first time, data of breeding success for the species. We monitored six nesting attempts during eight consecutive breeding seasons. All nests were built on native trees. Mean clutch size was ~3 eggs with an incubation period of ~14 days and a nestling period of ~15 days. On average, 2 chicks left the nest successfully. Thirty-three percent of the nests were successful and the rest failed due to predation events. We highlight the importance of making this type of data available to contribute to the necessary knowledge of the reproductive strategies of Neotropical birds, mainly those that inhabit the southern cone of South America.[ES] El Cuclillo Chico (Coccycua cinerea) es un ave con amplia distribución en el Neotrópico. Su comportamiento poco conspicuo y la dificultad para hallar sus nidos han resultado en un escaso conocimiento sobre su biología reproductiva. Estudiamos una población reproductiva en el centro-este de Argentina que utilizó los bosques nativos de talares como área de nidificación. En esta contribución aportamos nuevos datos sobre las características de los nidos, los sitios utilizados para construirlos, medidas morfométricas de huevos y pichones y reportamos por primera vez valores del éxito de nidificación de la especie. Monitoreamos seis intentos de nidificación durante ocho temporadas reproductivas consecutivas. Todos los nidos fueron construidos sobre árboles nativos. El tamaño de puesta fue de ~3 huevos con un período de incubación de ~14 días y un tiempo de permanencia de los pichones en el nido de ~15 días. En promedio abandonaron exitosamente el nido 2 pichones. El 33% de los nidos fue exitoso y el resto fracasó debido a eventos de depredación.
