Description
Summary:In this article we present our conception of diathesis alternations and how they intervene in the definition of a model of lexical entries. We consider that diathesis alternations are the syntactic realizations of oppositions of a more general semantic nature. We will see how they interact with other components such as event structure and how different semantic classes of predicates arise from that interaction.
