Descripción
Sumario:1922 (2022), the latest novel by Antonio Rivero Taravillo, pays homage to different literary milestones that occurred in the annus mirabilis of literature, to recreate the aesthetic crossroads of a cultural context in which literary disputes between tradition and avant-garde appeared. This is a particularly rich year from the literary point of view with the publication of Ulysses by Joyce and The Waste Land by T. S. Eliot. Paris, as the European capital of great literary effervescence, brings together the lives of extraordinary personalities such as J. Joyce, T. S. Eliot or E. Pound. This study refects on dynamic canonicity, critical reception, rearguard and avant-garde, and narrative simultaneity, in order to rethink the circuit of literary communication a century later.
