The research is framed within a doctrinal debate in vogue at the time of its publication, which has led to the recognition by many technicians of cultural values for the conservation and management of natural areas. The work analyses these values in the light of environmental regulations and planning in a fruitful dialogue between the natural sciences and the social and legal sciences. It identifies the legal assets that are worthy of protection in natural areas and breaks with the monopoly of material environmental assets as the sole objective of the regulations for the protection of an area. The work proposes a broad perspective in the environmental management of spaces that also includes cultural values as an expression of the territory and of the necessary holistic view of the law for the protection of various legal assets.A la vista de la limitada eficacia de la normativa técnica de común aplicación para la protección de Espacios Naturales, el presente trabajo realiza una aproximación original a la conservación buscando sumar la toma en consideración de aspectos afectivos y culturales en la resolución de problemas ambientales. La investigación se enmarca dentro de un debate doctrinal en boga en la época de su publicación que ha ido desembocando en el reconocimiento por parte de muchos técnicos de los valores culturales para la conservación y gestión de los espacios naturales. El trabajo analiza estos valores a la luz de la normativa y la planificación ambiental en un diálogo fructífero entre las ciencias naturales y las ciencias sociales y jurídicas. Identifica los bienes jurídicos acreedores de protección en los espacios naturales y rompe con el monopolio de los bienes ambientales materiales como objetivo único de la normativa de protección de un espacio. El trabajo propone una perspectiva amplia en la ordenación ambiental de los espacios que dé también acogida a los valores culturales dentro de la misma como expresión del territorio y de la necesaria mirada holística del Derecho para la protección de diversos bienes jurídicos.Derecho2019info:eu-repo/semantics/bookhttp://hdl.handle.net/10952/7247reponame:RIUCAM.
