| Resumo: | [EN] The rise of the Crown of Aragón in the 15th century paved the way for some major breakthroughs in architecture. Francesc Baldomar (active between 1425-1476) is probably the most prominent master stonemason in Valencia, having overseen construction of the city’s most emblematic works of architecture. These works gave him an opportunity to demonstrate his expertise and his sophisticated mastery of geometry providing solutions of great complexity, and culminating in a novel style of vaulted ceiling. |
