| Resumo: | We have done a detail pétrographie cfasification proyect of the Tertiary sandstone in the aragonia area of the Ebro basin. This clasif¡cation is based on compositional and textural criteria, getting in that way compositional families, with the aim of distinguish the main area of this sandstone, and textural families in order to distinguish the same qualities. This study has been done in order to locate the original quarries as well as the finding of the best quality sandstones for posible restitution in the monuments of the Caspe area. These families, also can be use for the study of other areas and monuments of the Ebro basin |
