Descripción
Sumario:[EN] In this paper we present the Estimation of Non Attainable Magnitudes Problems as a tool to introduce mathematics modelling in compulsory secondary education classrooms. We define the concepts of Non Attainable Magnitude and the problems focused in its estimation. Secondly, we present an study done with secondary school students in order to observe whether they use modelling procedures in their resolution proposals. The data show that students can use modeling procedures to solve that kind of problems.
