| Resumo: | The organizing committee, on behalf of the Departament de Geologia of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, and the Institució Catalana d'Història Natural, invites scientists to Bellaterra, Catalonia, Spain to participate in the Tenth International Congress on Rudist Bivalves. Presentations (oral or poster) on any aspect concerning rudist bivalves are welcome. The venue of the congress will be the Convention Centre - Hotel Campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Campus de Bellaterra) in Catalonia, Spain, from the 22nd to the 27th of June 2014. Scientific sessions are envisaged (23-25 June) but also pre- and post-meeting fieldtrips (22 and 25-27June). Previous Rudist Congresses/Conferences took place in Jamaica (Kingston, 2011), Turkey (Izmir, 2008), USA (Austin, 2005), Croatia (Rovinj, 2002), Germany (Erlangen, 1999), France (Marseille, 1996), Mexico (Mexico City, 1993), Italy (Rome, 1990), and Yugoslavia (Belgrade, 1988). |
