A partir de les característiques paleontològiques, actualisme biològic i entorn geològic, es realitza una aproximació paleoecològica que ens indica l’existència d’un paleoambient de plataforma litoral, desenvolupat sota un clima de caire temperat durant el Pliocè mitjà.The fossil remains of fish contents of the Pliocene formations of the sa Talaia ravine in the NW of the sedimentary basin of Palma (Mallorca) are studied. Paleontological characteristics, biological actualism and geological environment are analysed, to provide a paleoecological approach to the environments where the ichthyofauna is developed.
