| Resumo: | This study investigates the impact of entrepreneurship education on developing entrepreneurial capital within the framework of an international entrepreneurship program integrated into higher education curricula. Drawing on empirical data collected from university students enrolled in technical degrees, it examines changes in entrepreneurial intention after participation in an entrepreneurship course incorporating Start for Future, an international initiative implemented across Europe. Grounded in the theory of planned behaviour, the research explores the role of educational programs in fostering entrepreneurial intention and action, with particular attention to gender differences and the evolution of entrepreneurial traits. The findings contribute to understanding how higher education institutions can operationalize their social contract by embedding entrepreneurship education into innovation ecosystems, supporting both local and international efforts to address sustainability and development challenges. |
