| Sumario: | [EN] This paper examines the geometry and stereotomy of two stone octagonal vaults designed by Jerónimo Quijano in the mid-16th century. These works, located in the sacristies of the churches of Santiago in Orihuela and Jumilla, are analyzed using three-dimensional models obtained through photogrammetry. This procedure allows for a precise analysis of their formal configuration and voussoir layout. The results are contrasted with the main stonemasonry treatises and manuscripts of the period, in order to deduce the stone-cutting methods employed and, ultimately, contribute to a better understanding of Renaissance stereotomy in southeastern Spain. |
