Wanted to analyze the use of reflectant materials in culture and art production as a resource to engage in a dialog between the pieze, the space and the observer. For this porpouse its necessary understand the perceptive and cognitive aspects that appears between the human being and his experience in front a mirror, and how some artists during different time periods, especially between Renascence till contemporary days have look multiple ways of how to express with different techniques some raised issues. Both from analogies as appealing frequently to the representing and used of mirrors and other reflectant materials in its productions. Taking a view from our days and the artist who continue using these materials in its pieces in the XXI century. Mirrors are used as tools to make questions about natural, artificial, virtual and cultural aspects of the human being experience with the world reality. Its decisive the search by the interaction in culture and art suggested by the art installations and other expressive ways in the modern sculpture. Even with the plenty presence and uses we still making to mirrors in ourdays, its exclusive charactheristics make this tool still being an inexhastible dispositive, which still making continuous quiestions even perceptive as cognitive and why the artistic production becomes one of those paths that lets the individual to have contact with these issues. |
