In fact, historical-artistic heritage and natural heritage share parallel processes of constitution and consolidation1.The Constitution of 1978 established theprotection of cultural heritage and the environment as fundamental objectives of public authority. Protection to be exercised in the framework of a system that recognizes a high degree of autonomy to the different regions in these matters.The ratification in 2007 of the European Landscape Convention (ELC) was the Spanish commitment to the identification, protection, management and management of its landscapes. The diversity of elements involved in the perception of landscapes has given rise to initiativesand reflections from different administrative and scientific fields.
