Resumo:This text explores the impact of Francoist censorship on the publication of film scripts for Fu Manchu movies in Spain, especially those aimed at children and young audiences. Due to the dictatorships obsession with safeguarding Falangist and National-Catholic values in the education of the youth, popular publications such as comic books received special attention. This article presents a case study of the works featuring the Asian villain who became a prototype of evil.
