They had different lines of study, and it was after the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) when botany was resumed by Fr. Jaume Capell SJ, who was the main person responsible of the herbarium that currently it is conserved in the same school. The herbarium consists of 3,853 specimens, many of which explain the history and botani cal work of the Jesuits in the mid-20th century. The herbarium contains different exsiccata as the «Herbario de Frère Sennen», «Plantes d’Espagne», «Herbario escolar del Jardín Botánico de Madrid» and duplicates from the herbarium of Institut Botànic de Barcelona.
