Sumario:Artificial Intelligence applied to journalism has already surpassed the ten-year mark, accumulating significant achievements derived from diverse experiences, although it also faces challenges and obscure aspects that require attention. This trend, which is emerging as irreversible, has rekindled debates about the threats and opportunities posed by this technology within an increasingly complex, dynamic, and demanding communications ecosystem requiring agile and effective responses. Through a review and synthesis of the most relevant scientific literature, this work compiles and synthesizes the main lessons learned over the last decade, structuring them in a heptalog that allows for a clear and orderly systematization of the findings. To this end, documentary review methodologies have been applied, with a compilation and descriptive approach that seeks to offer a comprehensive and critical overview. The results reflect that artificial intelligence applied to journalism has substantially transformed the processes of gathering, generating, editing, and distributing content. At the same time, news professionals have demonstrated a remarkable capacity for adaptation, successfully adjusting to new routines, technological tools, and news production models in a constantly changing environment.
