Summary:[EN] Cataglyphis humeya sp. n. is described on the basis of material from the southeastern Iberian Peninsula. Taxa close to this species and recorded for this region are revised, and the following are excluded from the Iberian Peninsula: Cataglyphis viatica nigra (André, 1881) and C. altisquamis (André, 1881). Only the following are considered as valid: Cataglyphis velox Santschi, 1929, C. hispanica (Forel, 1903) and C. humeya sp. n. Keys and descriptions are given for these and their distributions and affinities are discussed.
