| Resumo: | [EN] This paper presents the discovery of a potential late-antique Christian Basilica following a non-invasive survey conducted at the Santa Olalla site (Olmillos de Sasamón, Burgos) between 2021 and 2023. The building was documented through aerial photography in the visible spectrum and a geophysical survey with GPR, featuring a rectangular floor plan with an apse and two adjacent rooms whose functionality has yet to be clarified. The discovery resulted from a research project that aimed to document the large Late Roman archaeological complex of Santa Olalla. Its study contributes to the discussion on the end of the grand villas in the Duero valley, the (re)occupation of Roman-era spaces during the Visigothic period, and the political and territorial organisation of this area between the Late Antique and Early Medieval periods. |
