| Resumo: | This article is based on an investigation that inquires how the Argentine newspapers Clarín and La Nación enunciate in their official Facebook accounts, what kind of bond they propose there to their readers-users-followers, and how this has been transformed over the years. From the mid-20th century until the early 1990s, the general information press experienced a period of considerable stability that was interrupted by the development of the WWW. After the forced landing of their online versions, and almost without interruption, we have witnessed the transitions that these media have had to face to adapt and contain a reading public that currently focuses its attention on a variety of media platforms. Situated within this framework, the period between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017 is addressed here, in terms of both the number, type and frequency of posts according to time slot, as well as the configurations of the text of the post in relation to the title of the link to the news -frequently published on the media’s website. All the findings presented are the product of an interdisciplinary study that combines socio-semiotic analysis with the use of computational tools and methods that allow the collection, processing and visualization of a massive amount of data and metadata from the platform in question. |
