Sumario:The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 outbreak forced institutions of higher education to make an emergency transition to remote teaching. In this context, several institutions initiated training processes for teachers to enhance and/or develop skills in the use of ICTs to continue the teaching-learning process. This work presents the experience of five virtual tutors who tutored an intensive training course for virtual tutors in which 525 university professors participated. The results show difficulty in using technological tools, netiquette rules and incipient communicational skills; and regarding the work with e-activities, it was identified that the most complex topics are planning and evaluation, while the simplest one is design.
