However, this paradigm has shifted in recent decades, as contemporary museography has introduced new strategies in exhibition design. This discussion paper explores storytelling as a museographic tool to foster meaningful connections with audiences, stimulate inquiry and the pursuit of knowledge, and reinforce a sense of identity and community. Keywords: Museography, interiorism, culture, storytelling.El presente artículo de investigación expone una investigación orientada al desarrollo de estrategias de diseño pasivo para una edificación ubicada en Madrid, España, enfocada en garantizar el confort térmico y lumínico de sus usuarios, a partir de las condiciones climáticas locales. Madrid presenta un clima mediterráneo continental caracterizado por veranos calurosos, inviernos fríos y alta variabilidad térmica estacional, lo que exige una respuesta arquitectónica específica. La metodología empleada integró herramientas digitales como Climate Consultant 6.0, Rhinoceros 7, con el plugin Ladybug, y Revit, con Daylight Energy Analysis; estas permitieron simular el comportamiento ambiental del edificio en distintas estaciones del año. Se analizaron parámetros como radiación solar, ventilación natural, temperatura e iluminación para diseñar soluciones arquitectónicas adaptadas al sitio. Entre los principales resultados, destacan mejoras significativas en los indicadores de iluminación natural: en las plantas tipo del edificio, el porcentaje de espacios que superan el umbral recomendado aumentó hasta un 74% y el ADF alcanzó valores de hasta 11,7%, lo que refleja un mayor aprovechamiento de la luz diurna. Asimismo, el análisis de vientos y recorrido solar guió la orientación y configuración volumétrica del edificio para favorecer la ventilación cruzada y reducir la ganancia térmica en verano.
