| Resumo: | Barraganete the banana production in the canton El Carmen, it is part of the productive activities that encourage the local economy of a significant number of small and medium producers of this fruit production is destined to meet the demand of local and national market. This productive activity is part of the productive apparatus of the canton, however, costs and production processes barraganete banana are high, which reduces competitiveness because extensive production systems are used, which did not adequately exploit the climate benefits of soil and environmental sector.
