Summary:Having a lack of knowledge about the employment status of professionals of the Educational Psychology and Guidance Career of the National University of Loja, it is necessary to know what are the factors associated with labor market insertion in this target population, whose general objective is: to analyze the factors associated with the labor market insertion of professional graduates in the last three years; for which we start with the first specific objective: to identify the factors that influence labor market insertion; then, the current status of the graduates in relation to labor market insertion is analyzed to know if they are working within the training area; finally, it is analyzed through a cross table, to determine the influence of the factors associated with labor market insertion of professionals, especially those professionals who are working within the training area or those who have experience within it; the target population are the professionals of the Educational Psychology and Guidance Career: This research has a mixed approach, non-experimental descriptive design, it has a correlational scope, the technique is qualitative with cross-sectional and a survey was applied as an instrument; it is known that 34.50 % are working in another training area; 20.70 % are not working; and 44.70 % are working in the training area, among the most influential factors are personal competencies with 31.10 %.
