Sumario:Organizational climate and job performance are fundamental aspects experienced daily within a company, as they refer to both the psychological and social environment. These factors directly influence productivity, efficiency, and employee satisfaction. It is important to note that a positive work climate leads to better performance, higher productivity, and improved work quality among employees. This research aims to analyze how the organizational climate affects the job performance of employees at the KFC franchise in the city of Loja during 2024. Therefore, the organizational climate factors influencing job performance were identified, as well as how they affect each employee's performance. The study adopted a descriptive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The technique used was a survey, applied to all 30 employees of the company. The instrument consisted of questions based on Likert’s 8-dimension theory, which helped determine the relationship between the two variables. The average score obtained in the work climate dimension was good, with a result of 4.1 (equivalent to 81.29%). Meanwhile, regression analysis showed a moderate relationship between work climate and performance, with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.7158. The results allowed us to identify the level of correlation between the variables under study, confirming that the work climate does indeed influence the performance of each employee at the KFC fast-food restaurant in Loja. Consequently, a proposal was developed to improve the company’s work climate, ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives. Additionally, conclusions and recommendations were provided to enhance staff performance and, in turn, the fulfillment of the organization’s goals.
