| Sumario: | This article analyzes the role of multi-actor social networks in the development of agroforestry systems in Brazil, focusing on two case studies: the Agroforestry Network of Ribeirão Preto and the Agroecological Agroforestry Systems Network of Southern Brazil (SAFAS Network). Using a qualitative methodology based on document analysis, the study examines the dynamics of cooperation among family farmers, researchers, public institutions, and other social actors. It highlights how these networks contribute to strengthening the agroecological transition by fostering knowledge exchange, social innovation, and the articulation of public policies that support sustainable practices. The results indicate that these networks are essential for overcoming common challenges such as limited access to markets, inputs, and specialized technical assistance. Moreover, collective activities such as macro-workshops, participatory training, and awareness campaigns have proven to be effective tools for promoting co-creation of solutions in various territories. Despite financial and institutional limitations, multi-actor networks emerge as crucial spaces for learning and innovation in the viability of agroforestry systems. This study contributes to the debate on how social networks can play a strategic role in the transition toward more resilient and sustainable agricultural models in Brazil. |
