| Sumario: | This project includes the study of visitors nationals and foreign visitors to the upper area of the Cotacachi Cayapas National Park (PNCC) at the province of Imbabura, in Ecuador, whose main objective is to characterize their profile.The descriptive and exploratory methods were used in this park. It was reviewed in secondary sources. The reviewed scientific literature was about travel motivations. Field research, through direct observation, allowed better visual appreciation of the place and found certain acts (tourist influx, gender, lagoon conservation, among others). A survey was applied with general questions relating to population profile, socio-economic, psychographic profiles and other aspects, to 383 national and foreign tourists who visited the park, especially the Cuicocha lagoon. |
