Summary:During the COVID-19 pandemic, many issues concerned to diet have arisen. This fact has led the opportunity to start new business ideas regarding to the consumption of cereals for breakfast and snacks. Therefore, this research aims to develop a company that contribute to the local economic reactivation. This will generate new direct and indirect sources of employment trough introducing a new and healthier product to the market. In this Project, a business plan for extruded corn and rice commercialization for the “CEREALES ANDES” company is presented. It will be located in Natabuela neighborhood, Antonio Ante canton. To create it, a bibliographic and market research were done; Antonio Ante’s people preferences and cereal consumption habits were considered in order to know their likes and the product acceptance. The technicaloperational guidelines were established. The staff members were chosen trough an administrative analysis; and a financial and economic analysis showed the profitability of this project. It presents specifications regarding to the problem, justification, general and specific objectives, methodology, and the results. Those results are divided in three chapters, in which the theoretical and methodological foundations to develop a business plan according to the company requirements are included.
