| Resumo: | Job stability (JS) can contribute importantly to the development of both workers, companies, and the economy as a whole. This study analyzes the determining factors of the JS of workers in Ecuador, using information from the year 2022; for this, logit and probit models are estimated. The results show that several factors influence significantly on JS and, particularly, that in the country the probability for a worker to achieve job stability increases with his age only until he is 43.5 years old, after which such probability rather starts decreasing. |
