| Sumario: | The analysis of the native women’s role in Talamanca and its relation to the agro ecosystem, allows to understand how their agricultural activities provide an agro ecological proposal that permits to regenerate the natural cycle, avoiding at the same time starvation and local poverty. Native women in Talamanca play an important role not only in procreation, but also in cultural reaffirmation and proliferation. Management of the sustainable biodiversity will be possible once native women’s importance be recognized, approved and kept in cultural diversity. |
