It is emphasized that these texts constitute a valuable and updated to the Costa Rican education.Se centra en los libros de secundaria de la Serie: Hacia el siglo XXI, publicados por la Universidad de Costa Rica y el Ministerio de Educación Pública. Se analizan la presentación y desarrollo de los temas lingüísticos y gramaticales –español de Costa Rica, normas lingüísticas, ortografía, léxico, morfología, sintaxis–, la motivación del alumno y la alumna, la elaboración y presentación de las diversas prácticas y ejercicios.
