It is concluded that although some elements coincide in both genres, the logical-semantic relationships, the structures and the proportions of these components respond to the level of explicitness and to the communicative objective of each genre. Este artículo muestra los principales resultados del análisis de un corpus de memes y noticias digitales de corte político. Su objetivo: identificar las estructuras y contenidos más comunes del corpus. Se utilizaron categorías de análisis como las capas (Bateman), las categorías de imágenes (Vergara), las relaciones lógico-semánticas (Daly y Unsworth) y otras propias. Se concluye que, aunque algunos elementos coinciden en ambos géneros, las relaciones lógico-semánticas, las estructuras y las proporciones de dichos componentes responden al nivel de explicitud y al objetivo comunicacional de cada género.
