Sumario:Among the contemporary poets of Turrialba, Carlos Salvatierra might have been the one who most closely treated his colleague, Marco Aguilar. Therefore, this article provides an intimate and genuine vision of the personality and the existential, civic and poetic concerns of Aguilar, which extended over a wide spectrum, from his love for his fellow man in his neighborhood, to his ethical commitment to the preservation of nature.
