The main findings suggest that the most representative problems are solid waste pollution, local impacts from the island’s infrastructure, and conflicts of interest with authorities related to tourism.El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las problemáticas más significativas en relación con el paisaje que fueron identificadas por parte de la población de la isla de Mexcaltitán, Nayarit, México, durante el período 2019-2022. La información se obtuvo a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y utilizando el método de análisis temático fenomenológico.
