| Resumo: | This article emphasized a particular sector of tourism: cruise tourism. In order to perform an analysis of this sector in the city of Cartagena de Indias during the period 2010-2014, in this order was demonstrated with reliable data concerning tourism indicators for the industry during the aforementioned time, they met the conditions in which the port was and answered the following question ¿What is the real impact that generate the cruise tourism industry in the city of Cartagena? To develop this article, documentary research was used, based on documentary sources found on the websites of the entities involved with the tourism product and electronic databases.
