Resumo:The aim of this work was to study the subsoiler performance dependent of the displecement velocit and tine distances. the experiment was carried out in the FCAV - Unesp, in the municipal district of Jaboticabal. was be utilized an subsoiler with three tines and a 110,4 kw tractor, combining three displacement velocits (2, 4 and 6km h-1) and three tine distances (50, 60 and 70cm). The used experimental design was a randomized design, factorial array of 3x3, 9 treatments and three replications. it was mensured and observed the following parameters: forward speed, mobilized area, field effective capacity, effective yield, soil elevation area and vegetal residue incorporation. The results allowed verify that gear factor showed significant difference in the forward speed and field effective capacity variables and the tine distance factor showed significant difference in the field effective capacity and mobilized area
