| Resumo: | This article aims to identify extension actions undertaken by the academic library through the analysis of papers (oral communication and poster) in the proceedings of the Congresso Brasileiro de Biblioteconomia, Documentação e Ciências da Informação, held in Brazil from 2013 to 2017, as well as understanding the development of this theme in the academic library field. As theoretical reference, it presents founding conceptions of the relation between academic library and extension actions. Regarding the methodology, the research is characterized as exploratory-descriptive, bibliographic, documentary and with qualitative approach. As a result, 22 papers were compiled involving extension initiatives in university libraries, concerning reading incentive, utility information, sustainable development, accessibility and inclusion, memory preservation, mobile library deployment. It is concluded that, despite the significant increase of works about the theme of extension project in university libraries, especially in the CBBD of 2017, the development of this theme is still embryonic. |
