The paper aims to problematize it by arguing that, by means of the organization of popular collectives, the Pedagogy of Alternation has proposed and implemented a kind of education that disrupts the historical discrimination of rural subjects. This is a bibliographical research with documental analysis. It used theorists of Pedagogy of Alternation and Rural Education by articulating them with authors from the field of Cultural Studies. It was concluded that Pedagogy of Alternation has been able to defend the rural subjects and their right to a kind of education that meets their interests.El artículo tiene como objeto la Pedagogía de la Alternancia en Rondônia, y su objetivo es problematizarla, argumentando que ésta, por medio de la organización de colectivos populares, tiene propuesto e implementado una educación que rompe con la histórica discriminación de los sujetos del campo. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica y de análisis documental. Se utilizan teóricos de la Pedagogía de la Alternancia y de la Educación de campo, articulándolos con los autores del campo de los Estudios Culturales. Se concluye que la Pedagogía de la Alternancia ha conseguido defender a los sujetos del campo y su derecho a una educación volcada para sus intereses.O artigo tem como objeto a Pedagogia da Alternância em Rondônia e objetiva problematizá-la, argumentando que, por meio da organização de coletivos populares, ela tem proposto e implementado uma educação que rompe com a histórica discriminação dos sujeitos do campo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de análise documental. Utilizam-se teóricos da Pedagogia da Alternância e da Educação do Campo, articulando-os com os autores do campo dos Estudos Culturais.
