| Resumo: | In Brazil, although there is a great incentive for the production of cliclodextrinas (CDs) due to their high added value and the raw material (starch) is available at low cost, there are no industrial processes for their production. Therefore, the proposal of this work had as objective the development of technology for production and separation of CDs from single batch and sequential batch processes, using commercial cornstarch andcassava starch, with or without pretreatment of starch granules, and commercial cyclomaltodextringlucantransferase enzyme(CGTase), in the presence andabsence of ethanol. It was also studied the pharmacological application of CDs through the formation of inclusion complex with enrofloxacin (FLOX), to remove the bitter taste and increase the solubility of this antibiotic. |
