| Resumo: | This article deepened the studies on the dialogue of the Bola de Neve Church (BNC) with the ideals of neoliberal policies. Reflections were elaborated on the video published on the YouTube platform, entitled: “How to face the current political/financial crisis”, a speech by the founder of BNC, Apostle Rinaldo Seixas, held at the Recrie Congress, in 2016. The methodology used in this work was based on analysis categories to understand and interpret the videographic source already mentioned and on bibliographical research in works of the sociology of religions and studies on neoliberalism. As a result, it was identified an approximation of the BNC with the neoliberal ideals from a religious perspective, with a discourse that provides mystical explanations about the Brazilian economic and political crisis and solutions inspired by the network economy to protect the faithful from unemployment. |
